Role title: General Operative
Location: Unit A, Altrincham Business Park, Manchester
Working days for this role are Monday to Friday covering shifts between 8:00-18:00. No weekend work included. Starting Rate between £9.50 and £10.50 per hour
Main Duties include:

- Picking orders using an RF scanner so that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately Order picking using RF scanner
- Ensuring orders are accurate good attention to detail
- Operating handling equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed
- Carefully pack and prepare orders for dispatch
- Goods-in ensure goods are checked in a timely manner no damages/discrepancies
- Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
- Ensure all warehouse pick goals are met on a daily / weekly bass
- General upkeep of the warehouse
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Role Requirements:
- In date Manual Handling Certificate essential
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Preferred
- Experience working with an RF scanner
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management and time keeping
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral English
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
- Someone who can thrive working on their own, without supervision
